This weekend Phil completed the Philadelphia Marathon in amazing form...3:33:32! He was placed 207/850 in his age division & 1801/10335 for the entire race! Considering he only started training 4 months ago it was truly impressive!
The kids & I attempted to follow him around the course, however a comedy of errors, road closures and traffic jams caused us to only see him at Mile 8. The kids had made a bunch of signs to encourage him but sadly only strangers got to enjoy them....
Two days later he is still moving slower than molasses and crippled over like a 90 year old but he did it!
As the old saying goes.... Pain is temporary, Pride is forever! Congratulations Babes. So proud of you!
